Copper Pipe Bookshelf
I made this bookshelf out of 1″x10″ pine boards and 0.75″ copper pipe. The holes in each shelf are drilled 0.125″ off center from the holes in their neighboring shelves to create friction against the pipe and prevent sliding during assembly and transportation. I also added pipe clamps to precisely fix the height of each shelf and prevent them from sliding when fully loaded with books.
