Escape Rooms: Top-Level Design
My company, Escape Industries, has designed and built all 12 of our escape rooms in-house. Our newest game, “Before Moonrise,” has attracted the attention of some major reviewers in the escape room community for its unique uses of technology, and its high production value. In addition to being a major technical challenge, designing everything in-house also poses a project management challenge, involving coordinating a geographically dispersed, multidisciplinary team with tight budgets and deadlines. We achieve our high quality games by curating a positive and inclusive design process, then translating that into an actionable plan with a variety of project management and other software tools.
